packaging design-pieminister

this was a packaging project i had to complete as part of the 3D modelling unit at college.

i had to develop packaging for a new product and my chosen brand was pieminister.

the task was to create packaging for their new made-up pie - rhubarb and custard.

this was the moodboard i created as part of the project.

and this was my final design board.

i used google sketchup to create a basic box and used photoshop to add the details such as barcode, logo, ingredients etc.

the colour scheme i used was based on the pie itself. i used a rhubarb-y purple colour and a custard yellow. i think the colours work really well together.
